The rare Sars, 1902 Andronov, 1981 a aetideid Bradyidius rakuma (Zvereva, 1977) recorded for first time Sea; male B. is time. second genus distinguished by biramous rostrum, antennule ancestral segment XXII without seta, details oral parts setation in females P5 structure dimorphic males. males congeners segments XXIII not comparatively small relative XXI large robust uniramous P5. In SoJaBio 2010 near-bottom benthopelgic fauna Calanoida have been represented these only they all belong superfamily Clausocalanoidea.

A new species of the endoparasitic copepod Enterognathus (Cyclopoida, Enterognathidae) is described from a crinoid host in the Seto Inland Sea, western Japan. This is a third species of the genus and its first occurrence in the Pacific Ocean. The new species is distinguished from two previously known congeners by the morphology of the body somites, caudal rami, antennae and legs. Crinoid parasi...
متن کاملTwo new species of benthopelagic Stephos (Copepoda, Calanoida, Stephidae) from Korea
Two new species of benthopelagic copepods of the genus Stephos T. Scott, 1892, belonging to the family Stephidae G.O. Sars, 1902, are described based on specimens collected in the stagnant water flooding the burrows excavated by ocypodid crabs in two intertidal mud-flats, and from near-bottom shallow waters in Korea, respectively. They can be easily diagnosed based on the ornamentation of both ...
متن کاملDepth-related trends in metabolism of benthic and benthopelagic deep-sea fishes
The metabolism of several animal groups declines with depth even after adjustments for size and temperature. The ‘‘visual-interactions hypothesis’’ explains this trend as the result of declining light levels that reduce the distances over which predators and prey interact. This reduction relaxes the selective pressure for locomotory capacity, and reductions in metabolic rate follow. The decline...
متن کاملthe effect of taftan pozzolan on the compressive strength of concrete in the environmental conditions of oman sea (chabahar port)
cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
Nyxis rostrocularis , a new genus and species of Paranannopinae Por , 1986 ( Copepoda , Harpacticoida ) from the Southern Atlantic deep sea *
The species diversity of Copepoda Harpacticoida at several sampling locations in the Southern Atlantic has been investigated. From the obtained multicorer samples, a new taxon of Paranannopinae Por, 1986, Nyxis rostrocularis gen. nov., sp. nov., has been collected, which is described in the present paper. Specimens of the taxon have been encountered in the Angola Basin (DIVA 1 stations 325 and ...
